You don't need to spend any extra money and a lot of us shop online everyday...so why not help us by clicking on the link above and support the Children's Centre! - The Rothwell Victoria Children's Centre officially opened in March 2009 and provides support and services to the community of Rothwell, Mawsley, Loddington, Pytchley, Broughton, Great Cransley, Thorpe Malsor, Harrington, Thorpe Underwood and Orton. There is a range of support from skilled, commiteed and enthusiastic staff, on hand to help you. We work along side local families with children under the age of 5, providing information, advice and a wide range of services. Help with returning to work, finding childcare, family support, family health, and much more are offered. Sure Start Children's Centres provide a variety of services to support you, all in one place. Before Birth:
• Antenatal clinic with a midwife if you're a mum or dad to be
• Parentcraft classes with a midwife for you and your partner also an excellent opportunity for you to meet other parents to be • Early Days group for expectant parents and babies 0-6 months
From Birth to 5:
• Advice on various issues such as breastfeeding, weaning, home safety, child safety and more • Fun activities for dads, mums, carers, grandparents, childminders and children to enjoy together
• Early education for young children, growing in confidence towards full-time school
• Connections to Job Centre Plus who visit the our Centre once a fortnight to help you get back to work
• Improve your literacy and/or numeracy skills with our Tresham College courses. We aim to provide you and your children with the professional advice on health and family matters and also somewhere for you to socialise.
